I know this is not a NEW subject but I just stumbled on this site and read about the effect of the fronts coming in as explained by a Science Teacher...not sure how old the post even was...I have known that for sometime just by experiencing it...what I have never seen addressed is the fact of how cold the stiffness and joint pain can make you? Am I the only one that experiences this? It doesn't even matter how warm it is out side or inside, I freeze. Usually have to go to bed with hot packs and heating blanket....just me? Thanks so much for any help..people who do not suffer arthritis have no idea how it effects ones life.  When the conditions are right and I feel good I actually stop and think- this is how a person is suppose to feel!I live in So. California. You know that warm, beachy state. I too have problems with weather. Obviously we have two kinds of weather sunny and chilly or rainy. My problems is related to weather fronts. When the pressure changes, Yeow! In the winter we get Santa Ana Winds. High Pressure, hot winds from the desert areas. They cause me pain. When the barometer drops with a cold front it cause me pain. When a storm front comes I'm in pain. When the rainy weather leaves I have pain. It it is warm weather for a few days my knees feel a little better. As soon as the barometric pressure changes yikes!

I wonder if what your are suffering from is a barometric change in weather i.e., a cold front?
