but im not sure

and another question is
why does it hurt so much?

it doesnt hurt for me every day
only once in a while
like last wednesday-friday
i could barely walk right
but then saturday it was all better

um ok lol so those r my questions
and im still ok now
hi StarPerson.
Sorry you have JRA....  Where does it hurt you?  one joint?  alot of joints?

I had JRA as a young person too....  And for a long time I had very little problems ... it wasn't til I was 50 years old that it got really bad...

You are right, it can go away.  there are different kinds of JRA as there are some differences w/ RA too.

Listen to your doctor... rest when you can... take what meds are prescribed and I hope the best for you.
well i got the systemic type of JRA

it hurts in different places, usually it hurts in my ankles and wrists, fingers and sometimes my knees. but it doesnt hurt everday it seems to come and go, lol. one day i might feel fine, and the next day id feel terrible. like last wednesday-friday it hurt so bad i was limping but when i woke up saturday morning i was perfectly fine then. so that was weird i guess.
well, even the adults have those times when it feels okay but the next few days are bad... or even longer..
I'm glad it's only a few days of bad aching.

How old are you Star?
BTW< I had oglioarticular JRA. only two joints involved while I was young.  As an adult it's different and more involved.  Sometimes the RA we get can be systemic too..

have you read anything on the net about JRA?

This is a good link if you think you may want to read more:  http://kidshealth.org/PageManager.jsp?dn=chsd&article_set=22360&lic=102&cat_id=20075
well im 13
oh and i did read stuff online about JRA
cuz when i get bored i do stuff
and so yeah i did
That is a great article.   yeah... it was a good article
i think so too
That is really an amazing article and it really helps.
A friend of mine got JRA too and he was feeling so lonely and not understood because no one that he knew was in a similar position.
It is so hard whn no one can help you and expecially when you are standing next to him and you can't help him ...
