exercise ball | Arthritis Information

I bought an exercise ball when wal-mart was clearing out for revamping their store. It was only . I was thinking of trying to use it. It says in the booklet that just sitting on it and bouncing up and down was cardio.

I was wondering if anyone else uses an exercise ball?

I have been putting off pumping it up because the last one I had I spent on, my son busted it, and it was suppose to be bust proof. This one I bought says the same thing, but... I am not taking any chances. I will have to find some where to store it aired up and away from my son.

That is my plans for my exercise.
I have an exercise ball Joonie, I love mine. I have a set of exercises that my physio gave me to use on the ball and they have helped . I will scan them and send them to you. Nothing to vigorous but great for feeling like you have had a bit of a work outOk thank you! I would appreciate it.

My RD was to be setting me up for PT (pain & torture)... but she said where I live none of the PT offices are qualified to do PT for RA patients. But she would have someone call around to see if that might have changed since the last time she tried it for another patient. She said I was probably going to have to drive an hour for PT, if the city closest to me did not have a PT office that had someone that was qualified to do PT with RA patients.

I told if not, then not to worry about it, because my hubby did not have enough vacation time to do both my RD appts, infusions, and PT. She said she understood. But it would help me if I could go 2-3 times a week.
I will scan them tomorrow for you...make sure you do the warm ups first...Be careful, they have known to pop and cause injuries.
Yeah... I have decided that might happen since my son burst the last non-burstable one. I had already decided I would not do any excerise with it while hubby was not home. For 2 reasons... one in case I bounced off and into the floor, I would not be able to get up by myself. and two in case the ball bursts and I land on the floor and then I would need someone to help me off the floor. It all revolves around me landing on the floor and needing someone to help me off the floor. I guess you can say that the floor is my enemy LMAO!
