Cute Handle. Are you Norwegian or part Norwegian? Just curious?
Loki, in
Norse mythology, the handsome giant who represented evil and was
possessed of great knowledge and cunning. He was indirectly responsible
for the death of Balder, god of light and joy. According to the Poetic Edda, a collection of Scandinavian myths, Loki and Hel,
goddess of the underworld, will lead the forces of evil against the
Aesir, or gods, in the titanic struggle of Ragnarok, the end of the
world.
Hi Loki, my cat is named Loki because he is a GOD!! Love the handle. Lindy
Yep, I know who Loki is, he isn't a bad god, he is just doing what he has to do --- and having a little fun too.
Your correct in that he isn't bad - "HE'S PURE AND UNADULTERATED EVIL."
Methinks you aren't Norwegian since you wouldn't answer my question. Norwegians know Loki was the worst of the worst in Norwegian mythology. Evil and Goodness are both alike in that they enjoy doing what they are doing. There they part paths for Goodness doesn't harm anyone in any way.
Aw, but everyone knows in mythology there can't be GOOD without EVIL. So in a sense, Loki's right. ;)
*takes off her Devil's Advocate suit*
Hi, Katie. By the same token in mythology you cannot have EVIL without GOOD.
A-hah! So it's a vicious cycle! :P
