Hi all,
As stated in the title I am new to this forum. I have frequented various forums in the past relating to different subjects, but this is my first time communicating with others who have AS or other forms of arthritis. I hope to be an active member of this board to learn more about the disease, treatments, offer support, and ask questions.
A little about myself, I am 19 years old and a college student. I am also a bowler, competing at a very high level in college and some professional events. I was diagnosed with AS when I was 18 years old and suppressed symptoms with NSAID's for a couple of years before that. I am a new user of Humira (about 8 weeks now), and have had significant improvements. I am able to live each day to the fullest with this treatment and am very grateful it has benefited me.
If anyone has any questions or comments I would be happy to respond to them. I hope to contribute to this community! I have never read so many posts that I felt I could relate to.
