Rheumatoid Nodule | Arthritis Information

I am a 36-year-old female, living with RA for 15 years.

I just had another surgery, because of my RA. This time, it was to remove a nodule on the palm side of my index finger and a trigger finger repair on my ring finger. This is my 8th surgery (knees, elbows, etc.). Does anyone know if RA nodules come back, after being surgically removed? What is the chance of regaining full ability of my finger?

Thank you!Hi and welcome,

I do not have the answers to your questions but I wanted to welcome you.  The only suggestion I would have to offer is that you may want to discuss those items with your surgeon and rheumatologist.   Good Luck and I hope you heal quickly.  HG
Hi,
nodules can appear anywhere there is a pressure point so unfortunatey even if they are surgically removed they can return..but hopefully the repair of the tendon will help prevent that for you
ttt moving up again as this could be of interest
