almost everyone has it | Arthritis Information

so ive been thinking, and it seems weird

that almost everyone in my family has some type of arthritis

lol, maybe its a coincidence

my mom has it, my dad and my grandma

ooh and ME

i got a type of it too

i think the only one who doesnt have it is my grandpa, but he might

so dont u think thats such a coincidence lol

i think its sorta cool in a way

that we all have some type of arthritis

i feel special lol

It is not unusual for arthritic conditions to populate families. My youngest brother has AS, my middle brother has OA as does my sister. My father has reactive arthritis as a result of several compound fractures suffered when he was the victim of a hit-and-run vehicular accident. My paternal grandmother had rheumatism, and a paternal uncle has RA in the days when treatment was lots and lots of aspirin and then later gold injections.

Additionally, I have a great-nephew who has pseudogout and I have RA: a real family affair. ooh wow lol

i thought i was special cuz most of my family has it

lol, i guess not tho

but its cool how it worked out that i got a type of arthritis too

cuz im adopted

so that worked out cool

such a coincidence lol

I have familial occurances as well.. and some other AI diseases tossed in....

i can barely do anything lol

im stuck on my bed

even tho my grandma had talked to my mom this morning

and she sayd i should walk around

so i dont get too stiff

lol

grandma was probably right. but sometimes we just need a bed day. It is fairly common for inflammatory arthritis to "run" in families. ive been having bed days all week, lol

anyways my grandma came over my house this afternoon

cuz it was her 78th b-day today

and she sayd it again

she always says to get up and exercise or at least walk around a little

but im sure it would hurt too much

sometimes it does hurt, Star.... but we often force ourselves to do things that are good. Would grandma walk with you? that would make it nice!

me, her and my mom were supposed to go walking at the park, or the trail when summer vacation started, but its been so rainy lately and we havent been able to get outside.

i hate when its rainy and cloudy outside, makes it even more depressing, since im already stuck on my bed, all alone

being alone in the house all day isnt really fun lol

maybe next week it'll be sunny and i can go walkin with my grandma

but not now, its supposed to rain ALL week lol
