Here is an article on microwaves.

that was a good article.

Thank you.
wow
we use r microwave like every day
to cook alot of stuff
so maybe thats a little bad...
Pseudoscience scaremongering at its best.

Don't want the proteins in your food denatured?  Don't cook it AT ALL.  Don't want to be exposed to electromagnetic fields?  Better shut off that computer you're using, for starters!

OMG I can't believe people actually read and believe this crap.
i dont believe it lol
im not gonna stop using my microwave
id never stop using it
i need it lol

anyways my mom's too lazy to cook every night
lol
IDK what to believe any more... Honestly.

and it made sense that if you cook it too much we do know that it's not as valuable to us..  so to quick cook at such high temps... makes sense that it is not good......

I thought the microwave issue and safety was cleared up many years ago and now it's resurfaced again.  I guess there's a whole new generation that wasn't around for the pros and cons of microwaving in the 70's and early 80's.   I don't  cook anything in the microwave but I do heat food.  I steam all my veggies anyway.  Lindyyeah thats what we use r microwave for mostly
just vegetables usually
unless we're really busy
then we'd cook somethin in there
but it seems like microwaves might be bad lol
I barely use the microwave because I prefer the texture of food cooked using other methods. I have to say I have always been a little leary of them as well. I have read all kinds of different things. If there is leakage and you stand too close it can cause breast cancer, Nuking in plastic containers or using saran wrap makes the food contaminated with carcinogens, the new Steam Fresh veggie bags- the same thing... Is it true or false? I don't know -I'm not a Science wiz but it seems to my gut that it could be true. I hate microwaves for cooking anything. I threw mine out years ago . I much prefer other methods of cooking and steaming. In the summer we cook outdoors all the time or eat cold meats and salads. In the winter I use my oven or my slow cooker. I find the microwave convenient but after reading this, I am cutting back.I'm afraid I have to agree with Jaz on this.  This article is written as an opinion, it is not based in medical evidence, and if you check out the credentials of the individual who wrote it, they are not very impressive!

I believe in holistic medicine, and I myself take many supplements which I feel help me greatly.  But this is a poorly written, undocumented piece that no one should feel is evidence to base their actions upon.
