NBC just confirmed it a few minutes ago.i know

its terrible
u ruin my fun, ive been trying to tell people
but everyone seems to already know
my best friends knew before me

but thats sad that he died his music was a big part of my childhood and teenage years.  He reportedly had at least one auto immune disease (vitiligo).  It will be interesting to hear the cause of death.  i heard he went into cardiac arrest or somethin
thats what my friend sayd
so does that mean he was havin heart problems
or what?
idk
cardiac arrest can be due to heart problems or the result of many other causes including other illnesses, drug or alcohol overdoses...oh
so i wonder what happened to him...
It is indeed a sad day in the entertainment world.  Farah Fawcett died too, after a long battle with cancer.
Michael Jackson is a Legend.  I grew up with his music and was sad to read the news of his passing.

AWAITING CONFIRMATION ON YOU GOING THE SAME WAY. LEARN TO LOVE YOURSELF BEFORE ITS TOO LATE.

Nice, wishing people on an arthritis board DEAD.

It really takes ALL KINDS! It's been a rough week in the entertainment world.  I too grew up listening to Michael's music.  His "Thriller" album was a pretty big influence on my becoming a musician.  I hope Michael can have peace now.

When the EMT's arrived they say he was pointing to his heart and they could barely hear him saying " Beat It "...........Sorry had too. He will be remembered as an unusual artist but a legend in the music world. As far as his personal life, Strange comes to mind. Who could forget the " Moon Walk " at the Motown show I think around 83 ?? And Thriller a long video even for that time frame...RIPSo many of his songs bring back fond memories of my childhood. Almost every station I turned to this morning was playing a lot of his old music. I wasn't a big fan of his newer stuff; but Thrill takes me right back to my Jr. High School days. I can remember exactly where I was when I hear certain songs. Things I haven't thought about in years came to mind this morning while listening to that on the way to work.

He seemed to have lead such a troubled life at times. May he rest in peace.
REST IN PEACE:
ED MCMAHON
FARRAH FAWCETT
MICHAEL JACKSON
(and for my philly/nj people) GARY POPPA
thank you Mrs. David.. I had met Gary Poppa several time at our local bank........  A very nice gentleman....

RIP for all.....
Let's not forget the pedophilia, folks. Was that actually ever proven?  I know he was more than eccentric but IDK if I believe that. The first lawsuit was settled for 10s of $$millions before it went to the jury.  The prosecutors were certain he would have been convicted.

The freak used an elaborate alarm system to alert him to footsteps coming up the stairs  when he had little boys locked in his bedroom,  in his bed.

Books of nude children were found in his "secret" closet.

Both  of these statements are FACT, and are of public record.

I hope none of you would have felt comfortable allowing your child to spend "alone time" with him.   Personally, I don't care how "talented" he was, his money and fame allowed him to get away with child molestation, a truly horrific offense.  The news coverage of his death is absolutely sickening.

And of course the parents of those children were not to blame for allowing their children to go to his house for overnight and extended stays, even after the first incident. It is up to each of us to protect our children.
Absolutely.
That any parent allowed it does not make Jackson any less guilty.    im too young to have heard his music when he was at the height of his career. im only 22 now, so really all ive ever known about him was his legal issues. its sad to me that he died, because he was a person, a human being. but at the same time, if he really was a child molester, then i cant feel bad for him.
to me child molesters are the worst.
i hope he wasnt, although he did seem very troubled.
I can't help but think of him as a tragic personality.  He was never allowed to have a childhood, and grew up in a bizarre, over-indulged, over-privileged way, without ever having a sense of reality or security.  His father strikes me as a truly evil individual, and the family was and continues to be extremely dysfunctional.  And he has so many people who have attached themselves to him over the years, without genuine concern for him or his well-being.  They are just there as leeches to suck him dry.

His talent is unequalled, and I feel very lucky to have grown up with his music.  I honestly feel that this may be best for him, a way for him to escape and for his poor tortured soul to finally be at peace.

He was proven NOT GUILTY in the courts.
He did pay off the first lawsuit but does not say how much , it is all speculation on how much it was.
He was known for just paying off lawsuits. He would not settle with the second of the molestation charges because he said "I will prove I am not guilty of this " and he did.
Sometimes it's a lot easier and less expensive to just pay off a lawsuit rather than go through the court system.  I think he was a pretty weird dude, but I don't think he is a child molester.  You know, if I believed someone molested one of my kids, I wouldn't sue them.  I would have them arrested and try to put them behind bars.  It seems like I remember something about the mother of that kid being found out to be a money grubbing, sue happy, very opportunistic person.  I can't remember all the details, I didn't follow that story very closely.  The whole idea of sexual abuse against children, especially children, is so disgusting and stomach turning to me that I couldn't really watch it.I do agree that he was a weird kind of guy but not a molester.
Can you imagine what his life was like? Working long hours as a child.
I read somewhere that the Jackson 5 put on 31 shows a week. Thats
alot of work for kids to do.

I think this is very sad....   I'm not leaning toward believing the child abuse issues..
I feel that because Michael Jackson never HAD a true childhood, he was trying to recreate it w/ the children and Neverland....
He was a poster child for what can happen to children not permitted to BE children and are always shoved in the spotlight to benefit adults.....  sad stuff.

I'm sorry, I liked his music just as much as the next guy BUT, there is someething seriously wrong with ANYONE that wants to sleep in the same BED as other people's children.  Honestly, that is way out of line AND weird.  Sleep with your own kids, not stranger's kids.
Lisa!! I am concerned here.

There is something SERIOUSLY wrong with a troll like you carrying on your vendetta after these wee revelations. Dontcha think?

You are a waste of space sweetie.

Go fill it with something rewarding and useful. And a visit to ya church  on your knees wont go amiss too.
Just another sad post, by another SAD & PATHETIC drama queen.
He's as guilty as OJ and a few others that use thier money and fame to stay out of jail.  Don't forget the baby he held out the window,  He should have use some of that money to get the help he needed for his problems.  A bad child hood, don't give you the right to molest children.
Could be that both of them at some point in time were close friends of MJs.  He had few close friends, if any at the time of his death.

Lisa you sound like Audrey with your views . The these two  were friends of MJ .

dunno why they're involved at all... we all know MJ was a white woman.

Only in America can a poor black child grow up to be a rich white woman!
