WEll my daughter's wedding went well, she was beautiful and Jarek was adorable.....I was an emotional mess for some odd reason but made it through.

Then came the flare, in bed for 2 days finally got up and went to my pcp he gave me a shot of Motrin + which brought nearly instant relief. HE changed my meds for the fibro and fibro fog and for "mood" this has been a rough time for me so much happening at one time.

Mother went to eye dr. her left retina is detaching due to diabetes so I do not know what will happen next with that. Too much stress. It is all too much stress for me right now.

Word from the experienced....if you have a disease and kids and your hubby has affairs, I guess just go with the flow cause I have to tell ya, doing all this single is tremendously difficult and only adds to your pain, stress and disease.

The humidity has been the pits, so high and in Michigan the weather change is so severe that it just sends me into a horrible flare each time. Getting older doesn't help either.

Just an update....been to sick to do much of anything lately. At least it isn't bitter cold outside!

JodeAw Jode!    I know how you feel!  It is so difficult to take care of our parents and try and navigate this disease!  Throw a little fibro on top of that and what a mix!

It sounds like the wedding was lovely and what mom wouldn't be an emotional wreck!
Gosh, my sons are grown men and I know I will cry like a baby when they marry!  I guess you just can't help but think about how they should still be little ones coming to slip into your bed in the middle of the night or crawl into your lap.

I think you are so brave to take all this on on your own.  You show me what a strong person you really are, even though you may not feel so now.  With out a doubt, the stress does add to your disease but the stress of a bad marriage would not make it any easier; you must answer your own needs first.

You take care Jode, it sounds like you have a great PCP who really cares for his patients.  I hope you feel better soon!
