Oh the pain | Arthritis Information

im in so much pain right now i cant believe it.

i have such a terrible headache and it hurts really bad, my mom sayd she'd give me some advil at 7, but advil doesnt work. and i told her so, last night and this morning when she gave it to me also. i told her it doesnt work but she still gives it to me, of course its always nice to try, but it seems like a waste of money, knowing somethin wont work but usin it anyways when it could rather be used for someone here who might benefit from it.

of course motrin and tylenol dont work either lately, so im doomed. lol.

and my knees r so swollen, its crazy lol

they were swollen last night too, my grandma also had noticed they were warm and red last night, i guess that means theyre inflamed. OH WELL. bad for me, i wish i could do something for it, the advil i took last night, my mom thought it would help, but it didnt.

i had asked my mom for some ice, to put on my knee but she doesnt think it'll work.

i also have a slight stomach ache and other stuff hurt too.

STar.... take your advil, motrin w/ food..... that may help w/ a stomach ache....

and ice does work.....

sometimes it takes more than one dose of ibuprophen to work. (advil and motrin are ibuprophen)

yeah i know advil and motrin r ibuprophen lol

i decided to have motrin

and it was snack time then actually

so with it i had

a sugar free chocolate pudding

and 3 little sugar free creme cookies

and btw my blood was good tonight, so im ok

it was only 138, yay

my headache is still so bad

my mom thinks i should just lay down for a while

so i guess i will

lol

yeah i thought ice would work

but my parents dont

and my grandma sayd ice would work too

but they didnt believe her

lol

Try a hot bath or shower as well. I always find heat helps. oh i dont think my head can take a hot bath/shower tonight

if im still in pain tommorow i will

but when i have a shower and i have a headache

then i feel like im gonna pass out usually

and that wouldnt be so pleasant

No that sure wouldn't be pleasant! I am just the opposite- I let the hot water pound on my neck and the base of my skull and my headache goes away. I like to rub icy hot on my neck and put a cold rag over my eyes and forehead. oh ok

so the motrin isnt workin yet

how long does it usually take motrin to start working?
