Arthritis Information -question about knee arthritis

Hello and welcome to the arthritisinsight forum. What kind of arthritis have you been diagnosed with? There are numerous kinds and types of arthritis and what serves to put one kind under control and hopefully in remission will not be the recommended treatment for another kind/type.

The best source of information regarding knee surgery is your physician.

Best wishes for a speedy resolution, Shug
I tore the meniscus in my knee a year ago.  Surgery was not an option at that time to repair because I have such extensive arthritis on the lateral aspect and some on the medial.  Within a few months I started developing arthritis of the foot.  Never had problems before.  Is it possible that walking with the knee arthrities (my leg is crooked) has brought on the arthritis in the foot?  Would having the knee replaced help?

Thanks
