I am off for the TEE... | Arthritis Information

Wednesday is the day I have the TEE (transesophogeal echocardiogram). I am a wee bit nervous, not about the procedure but about what they will find. I won't know what the results are tomorrow unless the valve is so awful that he says it must be repaired immediately... so hope that is not what I hear.

I don't know if I will feel much like checking in tomorrow but will do my best to keep you all up to date as soon as possible.

I was thinking about you last night while I was trying to go to sleep. I was trying to remember how my TEE went and if there was any advice I could give ya, but... I could not remember much about mine, since I was knocked out. Only thing I have to say is...

Just remember... the numbing spray.... yeah ... it is not banana split... it might smell like one but... there is no cherry on top of that banana and no ice cream that is for sure. Just some nasty tasting stuff LOL!
