Hi friends,
Im 24 with a good work history. I moved from California to the eastcoast 2 years ago, and was diagnosed with RA a year ago. I live with my parents who pay for everything: medication, doctors bills, lab bills, college tuition, car, gas, clothes.....everything. I was wondering though, because my RA is still quite active and painful, will I be approved for short-term disability? I applied a while back, and still awating a reply. In your opinion, how likely is it that Ill qualify?

In Calif. you have to pay into short term disability to get it. Call your employment development dept. They should be able to help you. Every state is different. Good luck.
