So... I was thinking... | Arthritis Information

I have decided that when someone asks me what is wrong with me, I am just going to give them some random reason for it.

Like today... went to wal-mart and I had to sit down because my left ankle and knee were KILLING me and that was after a Darvocet. So... I asked this older lady if I could sit on the bench next to her and she said sure. Then she asked what I done to make myself walk like that. I told her I sprained my ankle. She said I needed to stay off of it. I said yeah I know. Then she told me about why she was sitting on the bench... it was because she has a broken tailbone she broke over a month ago. Then... she said "I know I look like sh*t. I feel like sh*t." And my reply was... "okay." I really had to think hard on my reply... because the first thing that came to mind was "That's nice." But I felt that would have been rude.

So... I want to know.. what random thing would you say to someone, when you are hurting all over or just a certain body part and someone asks you what is wrong with you.

I was thinking... one random thing would be I was recently tazered by the police.

Hubby said next time I should say.. I was shot in the thigh while robbing the bank across the street a few mins ago. years ago I went to a summer camp put on by the Rotary Club for kids with disabilities.

Many of the kids were deaf, several had CP, a few had things like scoliosis.

The big finale of the 2 weeks was a special dinner where  the donors and do-gooders came to eat with all us "special " kids..  the vast majority of these donors would walk right up to a kid and say, "what's wrong with you?" As though because they donated to the camp they had the right to pry.

After about 4 women asking, (with sickening sweet tones and hungry nosy grins) what's wrong with you dearie? I finally said "I have congenital syphilis."

The shock on their faces was priceless.
HAHAHAHAAA!!! Good one!
