ok so for most of the day

when i swallow it hurts

do u ppl think thats bad? or weird? or anything?

i wonder if i should tell my parents or somethin...

i dont think its a BIG problem

but it shouldnt hurt to swallow lol

so why do u think it hurts to swallow?

One of the side effects of prednisone can be heartburn. That can cause painful swallowing.

Just an idea. You should probably tell your parents-they would want to know.

ive had that before, this seems sorta different lol

i guess my parents would wanna know

too bad they already went to bed lol

and theyd be super mad if i woke them up

if it gets worse i'll tell them tho

Star, you should inform your parents of any changes from what is regular. even if theyre sleeping??

i remember last week, the same thing happened

it seems like i get really sick on mtx days

like last wednesday, today

im havin trouble swallowing and my chest hurts

my chest doesnt hurt too bad

last wednesday, it felt like it was gonna explode or somethin

it hurt SO d*mn bad lol

but i was ok the next day

so idk maybe i'll be fine

I can feel crook the day after MTX as well Star.
More feeling just off and really tired with me tho.

it seems like i should be used to it by now lol

ive been takin it for over a month

so i should be used to feelin tired and sick every wednesday

I told my RD that it often hurts when I swallow...she said there are joints in the throat that can be affected by RA.

But you should mention it to your parents tomorrow.

It very well could be your mtx. Do you take folic acid or leukovorin after taking it? mtx can cause mouth sores and sometimes sores in your throat. It is a good idea if you are not taking folic acid or leukorvorin which is a more concentrated form of folic acid, to ask your Peds Rheumy about that. Make sure to keep well hydrated too. yeah, harlowshere. i have to take folic acid EVERY day lol

oh and i did tell my mom

apparently she's not going to do anything about it

and it still does hurt today

its so annoying
