anyone heard of this new drug? My doc is putting me on it. Self injection once a month. I was previously on humira. Unfortunately humira didnt work. She said mostly the same risks as humira but hepatitis b is a bigger threat. I asked her am I at a bigger risk for that and she said only if your a drug addict. I laughed and said you made me a prescription drug addict. She didnt find that funny. Oh well. I'm taking Simponi, but I've only had one injection, so it's too early to tell if it's going to work. If your doc does put you on it, be sure and ask for the Simponi Assistance Card...once you register it, Simponi pays for your copay for the first 6 months, then a portion of the copay thereafter...up to ,000.I have heard that this is a good drug for people who do not get relief with TNF Blockers.
