Well great. I had a voice message from the fraud dept. of my credit card asking me to call. I called in the number on the back of the card instead in case it was a trick. It was not. Someone spent all day on the Internet charging up my card. How does that happen? The card has not left my possession! I rarely buy on the internet and have not in at least a month.

2nd great piece of news is my TV box was broken since 4th of July. The picture just blinks and blinks non stop. They UPS'd a replacement because they said it was broken. The new one does not work. No one cares there. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they told me there is none. Come on now I said- there has to be a supervisor. Well they can't do anything more than I can. Well I'd like to talk to one and make sure. Well there is not one here. I can take a message and someone will call you back. No call back. I am locked into a contract until Dec or it's a 0 fee. You better believe that date is marked on my calander.

Remembered to look at son's report card on line since they don't mail them anymore.....well I don't even want to say. awww... wantto......  *hugs*

why does life deal it to us in this way?
I'm sorry you're having such a tough go of it today....
So.. is your bank going to make you pay on the card charges?
I hate that.. it's a horrible scarey thing to have happen...... you feel so violated!! unsafe.. unsure.
who is your cable with?  tell them to resend the signal.. you're not getting it.... reset remotely.....??? sometimes that works.

I hope tomorrow IS a better day

Wow...what a day you've had!
So what will be happening with the credit card fraud?
scarey...thank goodness your credit card company caught itThanks all. Yeah I'm glad the credit card company noticed and called right away. All the charges started yesterday and continued today for home furnishings and such. I'd like to be buying those things! Anyway they said I don't have to pay for any of it and they will be investigating but I'm without a card until the new number arrives. 5-7 days.

Oh and my TV is broken. It's not the box at all. I hooked up the little bedroom tv to the box and it's fine. Hmmmm now a credit card would come in handy to buy a new TV......

Son says he knows he's not a below average student and he'll do better next year. I think I heard that song and dance before...
I get spammed all the time with those rotten emails. what emails Bodak? Around here, they can put a card reader in the ATM's, at a gas station or bank anywhere they have an ATM.  They wait a few hours and come back and get the reader and it has all your information on it.  Also Doctor office's has been known to sell your personal information.  7/11's clerks can gather your information and have a friend use it.  Also I got a speeding ticket a few years back and paid cash at the court house and when I went to get insurance a few months later and they ask, I told them about the ticket and they run a check on me, well to my susprise I had never got a ticket and never paid for one...LOL sure help my rates.  But the lady was head line news later, she was stealing people credit card and bank information, They didn't say cash, because it couldn't be proved and I wasn't telling.  Pay attention to what people do with your cards and when you eat out (another place you need to watch) don't let them take your card anywhere.  I use my card everywhere, don't like to carry cash.  I gusse they can look at me and say she dosen't have any money worth stealing...lolYep, same thing happened to me a few years back also. My credit card never left my possession, yet someone got a hold of the number and charged all kinds of car parts and a computer online. Never heard if through the investigation they were able to find the person, but at least I wasn't responsible for any of the charges. Sorry about your TV...Hope you are having a better day today WTB!

It sounds like this happens a lot. Actually this is the second time this has happened to me. The first time was about 10 years ago. What a racket!

Reegie- so far so good...

How are you feeling anyway? You're getting pretty close to your due date aren't you?

This happened to my son and daughter in law and what they figured out is that when they used it at a restaurant someone got the information and they charged quite a bit but the bank reimbursed them.  You figure if a waiter/waitress takes your ID and Card to go and process it they have your address and all the information on the card and that is all they need to order on the internet.  It is a shame because like you say you are without a card until the new one comes in and in their case it was also their Debit Card.

Sandy

Oh I am feeling pretty tired and BIG!  I am due August 25, I know it isn't that far away but it seems like forever.  My feet have really started to bother me again making me quite nervous about the after birth flare.

Glad that your day is going better :)WTBRAF! what a day, what a day. I hope you were able to sleep, awoke refreshed, and that only joy and peace enter your world today.

Cheers, Shug
Aww Shug- such nice sentiment! Thank you! So far so good for me and I hope the same for you!

Reegie- I remember feeling pregnant forever! It doesn't help that it's summer and you are feeling hot on top of feeling uncomfortable. Your feet are probably feeling the extra weight too.  Oh before you know it you are going to have that sweet baby boy in your arms to enjoy! Hope you don't get an after flare. Have you talked to your RD? Can you start medicine as soon as you give birth?
Yeah they are excited, my youngest is a little jealous.  It is hard having it be so hot out but it is also nice that I can get the kids outside to keep busy.  I do think it is the extra weight and my joints loosening for birth that has me aching.  My rd doesn't want to see me until Oct. which is around 6 weeks after I give birth which is if I understand correctly when most women will flare.  I also plan on nursing so I don't know if that has something to do it or not.  You are right though it does seem like forever, especially this last few weeks.  I think it is because I am so anxious to meet him.Glad the credit card company caught it.  Very glad.  Good luck.Reegie- I don't wish to offend you but would you feel awful not to nurse the baby if it meant you could take your medicine and feel well? I know they say nursing is best and it helps with bonding- but bottle fed babies do well and a lot of other people get the chance to participate with the feeding. Everybody loves to feed a baby! (At least I do!)You didn't offend me WTB I really would feel a little guilty only because I nursed my other two until 6-8 months, I did supplement with formula at times.  I know that sounds a little  stupid but this is my last one and I would like to say I started them off the best I could.  On the other hand, as soon as I start to feel any worse I will have to change my mind about it because nobody is going to benefit from an unhappy mommy!  excellent idea, waddie's DH!!!

and best to you reegie!!
I can understand the way you feel Reegie.

Waddie- That was an excellent response from your DH! I will need to try that!
BTW- I never did get a call from the supervisor AND come to find out my TV is broken it's not their set top box! Not that I fault myself for fussing- they are the ones who told me they ran a test and the box was bad....
Thanks everyone!!
