Sigh.
Well I had the catheterization on the 22nd. Saw my cardiologist today.
The good news is that my coronary arteris are clean as a whistle..
The bad news....
Apparently my cardiomyopathy has returned. My heart had returned to close to normal size. Now its considerably enlarged again.. Thus showng the rotten cardiodoc that I fired, to not just be a rude, pluperfect bitch, but ignorant as well.
My EF which had risen to 55% is now back at 40%.
I am currently in mild heart failure which explains part of the exhaustion.
Dr. says we are NOT adding a biventricular pacemaker now, but he has fine tuned my meds.
I lost about 5 pounds in the past month, but over all since the first day in the hospital in 2002, when I was first diagnosed I have lost 70 pounds, which can't help but help. Yay.
Dr says to quit over doing, and to take a nap daily...if I possibly can. He recommends walking daily if I can possibly even if its a sloooow walk do the end of the block..
I am not pleased.
I am sorry to hear of your heart troubles, Kathy. I hope the fine tuning of your meds will help you to feel better soon.
I can only agree with what has been said, I hope you do have that 'nanna nap' every day! You have to take care of you.
You have a couple of positives and a negative. Try to focus on the good stuff and prayers going up that the rest will be taken care of with the right meds and rest.
