My son getting married | Arthritis Information

 

Oh for all those who know me and my kids, daughter is now married now son is getting married in August. I am so proud of him, what a joyus time.

I will stay at a hotel cause I will have my daughter and Jarek with me and while in Indiana I get to visit friends and the dog!! I am so excited.

I feel old!Congrats! Makes ya feel good when your kids reach the point of your job being done! All the best to him and his new wife! It is nice to be proud of our children.Congratulations, Jode!  What an exciting time!  My son got married, four years ago, and we just had our second grand-daughter, last week, so you have a lot to look forward to.  Have a wonderful time and enjoy every second!

Thanks so much and congrats on the gbaby Renee! My kids did things backwards, daughter has a 1 yr old son and my son has a 5 yr old daughter he is trying to get custody of and will have 2 stepsons with bright red hair! The boys are adorable and well behaved.

It does feel good to have them married, daughter still needs me a bit and is going to school and work so myself and the other gma babysit quite a bit, but overall daughter has made quite a bit of progress....for those of you who have never been around ADD/ADHD it is quite an accomplishment to get them to this point. Ohhh we still have our troubles and frustrations and I am still helping with teaching her coping, ect. skills, but she is doing quite well.

I do feel old though. I have spent my life engrossed and steeped in their upbringing and now find a bit too much "alone" time. Now it is my turn to begin dating again, kinda scary out there and noooooooooo I do not have marriage plans for me in the future....lol! not at this point anywa. He would have to be a super special guy and I already had one of those so it would be hard to top him.....time will tell.
