Enjoying the Sunshine - OT | Arthritis Information

I went out yesterday to catch a bit of sunshine and was a little surprised that a lot of others were doing the same.
It felt good with the sun on the face after some darkish grey days.

What a nice cool, calm picture Stephen.  I would give anything to be in that cool water at this point.  Temp. here is currently 34 and I will not even go outside the door.

serious question:  Are these pics for real?  They look like small wharfs in the USA about 40 years ago....
They are beautiful..... but they look nostalgic.... not current..

I am seriously not wanting to offend.
No offence taken Babs,

This is not a commercial fishing wharf.
Beautiful picture! It's real alright Babs.
The wharf history dates back to the late 1800's and used to be a major port before a railway line was constructed.

This is a shot out of the camera.
This looks inviting Stephen.  Give me a few minutes to find my fishing pole.  LOL
Speaking of pics, that's a nice one of you!
Thanks for including the history Stephen...that was an interesting read to go with the lovely photo.

We have old wharves like that here too, and I think they look SO much better than the modern yacht marinas etc that are everywhere here in NZ. Do you fish at all??

I'm a river fisherman Lyn....

Heaven help my relationship if ever I get to NZ, a painter's paradise.
Julie does want to go but thinks a ten day tour would be a nice trip.
I said you are kidding me,     right!

I'd still be in the first town I came across while she would be back home calling missing persons.
Well Stephen if you ever do make it over the ditch, dont forget to let me know! We lived an hour away from Lake Taupo until 10 years ago...now takes 2.5 hrs to get there but well worth it. Im sure you have seen all of Taupos publicity but here ya go!!

I'll leave you alone now and might head out again to see what can be caught.
Another gorgeous photo Stephen! I checked out the others at your site under "Two hours at Mornington" and they were equally as beautiful!Great photos!!!
