Since I got RA I am noticing a lot of these on my face, my legs, my feet....is there a connection or is it old age?IDK, but I have them too! Don't they call those 'spider veins'? Never say we're old! But I hate spiders!!!!! _popupControl(); I have then around my ankles. I showed them to the RA dr. and he had no idea what they were!!!!!!!!!!! I guess he missed class the day they were discussed. I noticed some around my knees and I have a huge bruise from skiing--that healed with spider veins.
Hey, some people get tattoos, we make our own pretty designs!!! I was reading up on RA and Remicade treatment this am and came across an article that mentioned spider veins associated with RA. I'll try in the next few days to find it again.
I have them all over my face and I hate them! My face looks like a map! LOL! My RD told me that they were caused by all the Prednisone I take. AHA! Another reason to get off that stuff. My face is getting worse and worse too. I don't know what I'll do when the tan is gone.
