Hi, I am wanting to know if anyone knows how long it takes humira to work? My husband has psoriatic arthritis and was on methotraxate and folic acid and prednisone for a while but the side effects were horrible. Mouth sores, bloody stools, fatigue, etc. He has had 2 shots of the humira and still doesn't feel very good at all. He still feels fatigued and doesn't have the drive to do the things he used to love to do. Is this a common effect from humira or does it go away once the humira really starts working? I've heard some people say it takes about 3 months to feel the full effects of humira. If anyone has any information that would be helpful, i would love to hear from you. My husband is only 33 and has always been active in basketball, tennis, football, swimming, etc. but doesn't feel like doing any of that now. I am really worried about him.
