Good news(finally) | Arthritis Information

So, after a rough couple of weeks I actually got some good news, and from a doctor even. Gasp!! I saw my nephrologist today and my levels all are better than my last visit. That is a first, I seem to have been getting a little worse each visit. He's thinking that my Enbrel is helping my kidney disease. Makes sense if you think about it, my IgA is an auto immune thing so if the Enbrel is suppressing my immune system, it's possible it's helping that too! I just wanted to share with the people who understand the best. Yay me! So happy for you Ally! Hope you continue to improve! congrats Ally!!  and YAY to enbrel!!

Hope you continue to get better and better.

Fabulous!!So I got some more tests back and got. More good news! My creatinine level is only .85!!! That's normal funcion! My last was 1.3 and if I got any higher I was going to have to go off of metformin. Also my potassium level is good at 4.6! That enbrel reallybis helping! So crazy, my numbers haven't been this low since I develop IgA! Just wanted to share, night all!Great to hear that your Enbrel is working. I wish you continued success. This is absolutly wonderful! Wonderful! Simply wonderful! According to my group of nephrologists Enbrel is the TNF of choice for kidney involvement with RA.

I am thrilled at your good news. Keep it up!

Cheers, Shug
