Short Bursts of Pred ??? | Arthritis Information

Ok, ya'll know I have been doing poorly again for about 3 weeks now. Saturday I could not take it anymore so... I took 20mg of pred. Then Sunday I took 15mg of pred and tonight I am going to take 10mg of pred and then the next day I will resume my normal dose.

My swelling is down, but not gone. The pain is much much more tolerable, but is returning and will probably be back by Tuesday. Which does not matter, because I will be getting my infusion and along with my infusion comes... solumedrol!! YAY!!!

I was wondering if anyone else does the short bursts like I just done?

I did not ask my RD, I just done it, because I was in such misery. I felt better, but I still was not able to manage to get around in wal-mart, so I sat in the car one time, and then the next time I just did make it to a bench and sat there until hubby was done.
