After having a bad night of sleepness, I was so down and hurting like I wanted to cry. The doc said that I couldn't take my pain med for a week before my surgery just use Tylenol. For me TYLENOL DOES NOTHING! So I got on this site and started to read the posts.
I just want to say a big thanks to Roxy, Kelstev- Kelly, Waddles, gmggraham, Sheryl, and painrelief. After reading your posts, I was feeling better and was smiling when I read Waddles post on how she got her name. Again, thanks for making me feel welcome and supported.

MarisaWe love having you Marisa.  Stay in touch and let us know how surgery goes.  We care.

marisa sue, what kinda surgery are you having?? i missed it somewhere, with this working thing i miss some of what is going on?? and when is it??? and how come you can not take your pain meds??? do you bleed allot?? I'm feeling better as I have one of my girls, she doesn't know that she's a c-a-t, sitting in my lap playing nurse. Both of my girls are great comfort when I'm hurting.
Still reading the posts and enjoying it as some of them will make me remember things that have happen to me. I know what it's like to move and all those boxes to pack. Don't do what I did, forgot to fully label the contents of each box and it took me forever to find my favorite dish. Had those packing peanuts allover the place as I tore through the boxes looking for the dish. The girls had a grand old time with the peanuts and boxes. After looking in 10 boxes, I finally found the dish in a box with my clothes in it. The floor was a mess and the girls were asleep in the middle of the mess. I just stood there laughing at myself and telling myself that the next time I will label those #%$^* boxes with what's in them!

S18wheeler38759.7532638889 Hi gmggraham,
I'm having my rotator cuff repaired which means that I'll be wearing a shoulder immoblizer for a while. The surgery will be on Thurs AM. Have to be at the surgery center at 5AM. The doc doesn't want me to take my Advil because it thins out your blood and decreases the clotting. All I know is that with the Advil I can get some sleep. (slept in this AM).

Hi S18wheeler,
Thanks for the advice on the Tylenol but I have the stuff with the codine and it wasn't helping. The pain was bad and I can take alot of pain. With the Advil the pain is still there but at least it will dull it and I can walk w/o tears running down my face. I can't wait until I get to see my new RA doc later this month.
