creepy crawling | Arthritis Information

 

Folks, I wonder if anyone else has a frequent crawling sensation on their legs. For several months I've felt that something was crawling on me, and often a very intense twitching sensation that stays in one spot. Believe me, I have ripped my pants down many times looking for a bug the size of my thumb, but there is never anything there. One time in the car, I thought something was on the underside of my leg. I was almost home so I pinched the fabric to catch this big bug, and when I got out of the car - NOTHING. The other night I was unable to sleep due to the creeping sensations, and I noticed that everywhere that fabric touched my skin got the feeling going.

I'm on MTX and relafen.aww.. Bluehour... sounds like RLS to me.....  Restless Leg Syndrome.

Babs, I've had restless legs for years, and this crawly thing is new.
really??  wow.Maybe it's just a new manifestation of the restless leg syndrome. I just wondered if the intensification of the feeling could be med related. After I found out all sorts of weird smells (like smoke) can be caused by MTX, now everything that I don't understand that happens to me gets blamed on my drugs!I have RLS.   It always feels like little bugs are crawling up my bones.I think RLS feels like something crawling under my skin.... not so much on the surface.
