Has anyone been told they have this or expereince this ?  I'd like to find out what you've gone through with this and what might make it better.

I get these flares if that's what you'd call it. It's been comming on just about every 2 weeks, It hits out of the blue, where ever it wants and hits hard, hurts like crazy then goes away within about 3 days.  Today it's in my right jaw, I cant eat anything but soup/oatmeal or close my mouth down completely. It goes from side to side, never in both joints at the same time (right side and left side) . The joints it usually hits is the inside of my wrist, the outside of my wrist bone area, one side of my neck,( i get to where i cant turn my head or drive it hurts so bad and get these crackling noises in my neck which is a little scary) and my shoulder.

Anyone else deal with this? My rheumatologist knows I get it, just kind of says, "hmm" and gave me an article to read about it. I usually just know when it hits, it will be gone in 3 days and just deal with it. My normal meds keep down my RA, except for these strange flares...

Thanks

klynn,

Are you talking about palindromic rheumatism or are you saying that you have another disease rather than palindromic rheumatism. I remember that you posted back in february of this year asking for information about palindromic rheumatism. I think the title was actually "Palindromic rheumatism". I know that you were quickly hustled to the roadback website by Maz-Aust and Suzanne and were given very dishonest information from Maz-Aust that if you take traditional meds, they will destroy your immune system and your liver. Good grief. Anyway, if you are talking about the same disease, I am curious as to why you now call it palidrome RA. You can just click on your own title below to get to the post by you that i am referring to. Hope it works good for you. Here is also the link to :

klynn,

This is a palendrome frog, it comes and goes. Like the disease itself, it comes and goes. The meaning of palindrome.

Hi Kelly,

I too have PRA (which stands for Palindromic Rheumatoid Arthritis) also know as a few other names as well --- If you want any information about it just PM me and I can point you in the right direction to read all about it !

Also just in case you are wondering why Kelly has asked again about PS ,,,
Perhaps Kelly has different symptoms now to what she had back then (I don't know) ?? and her Dr's didn't put it down to PS back then ...  maybe she has just been diagnosed !!
