ok, so im VERY bored tonight. so im gonna tell a story, that my grandma told me on the way to the hospital this morning.

~Low Blood Sugar~ A TRUE Story, by My Grandma, retold by Me

Ok, once upon a last Sunday night, it was time for insulin and pills. My grandma is a type 2 diabetic so she needs such things. (for obvious reasons) Before the pills and needle in the tummy, she took her blood sugar using her meter, it was 120. (seems pretty good to me, especially after having dinner, wah) She took her medications, and waited a while. OH NO!!! She felt it, she was shaky and didnt feel right. But, instead of just letting it pass by, she decided as she sayd (and i quote her exact words) "just for the fun of it" to check her blood sugar. And can u guess what it was??? Make a mental guess before u read the next part and tell me what u thought her blood sugar was. Ok....

it read LO. that means it was below 20!!!!!!!
when my grandma told us that, i almost freaked out. she couldve died!!! and this isnt the first time, that she's felt shaky and stuff, happens when she's late for lunch. so now im worried about her, cuz of hypoglycemia, U KNOW. so, she sayd next time she went to the doctor, she'd tell him.

ugh, this wasnt such a nice story, except for the fact that she's OK now and will tell her doctor, whom is NOT an endocrinologist and i dont think she should see him, she needs PROPER care.

cuz my grandma is my MOST favorite person EVER. even better than both of my parents...

                                      THE END

Your gma is lucky to have you Star. Take good care of her!
