I'm RF Positive and HLA-B27 positive too. Only HLA-B27 is the AS gene marker, but i have RA.
Does everyone have both? I know you don't have to be RF positive to have RA but i don't get why i have both of them.
My Rheumy says the auth immune diseases have a fair mount of over lap, they are not as clearly distinct as other things are. You may find you have more back problems thn some one with straight RA. Luckily the meds are the same for both. Susan
