i CANT believe it!!!

its almost time for school

well, for me
u adults obviously arent going to school
unless... ur gonna go to college, which i thought most of u r already did, but idk.

it seems like summer just started and now its OVER
only 3 more weeks left, then i'll be at school, ALL DAY

this sure is gonna be a "weird" and difficult year. more so than last year.

one thing that's gonna be different is, no matter how sick i feel im gonna be heading to school, during the summer, i didnt have to go to school even when i felt sick (cuz its summer lol)

another thing: it happened once, last year and then it happened in the summer. if my blood sugar went low, then i guess id head to the nurse. i did last year and she gave me some crackers,

one of the weirdest things is, idk if im gonna do gym class. since i had been back from the hospital, last school year, i hadnt taken gym anymore, idk what's gonna happen this year.

other than "health" related things, its gonna be weird cuz, my last year of middle school, wah

i dont wanna go to school, its gonna be HARD AND TERRIBLE.
Summer sure has gone by fast, Star!
As far as your gym class goes, why not just do what you can and if you can't do somethings, just don't.  Maybe have your mother write a note explaining that it needs to be left up to you and how you feel during that particular day?
My daughter starts back to school the 10th of this month! She is all disappointed and attitudy about starting back to school.

Tonight is open house for her, so we are going and taking all of her school supplies so she does not have to take them on the bus this year.

I asked my daughter to tidy up the livingroom, the other day. She told me she could not do it because she needed to rest a lot before going back to school. Every time I ask her to do something she tells me that she cannot do it because she needs to rest before going back to school.

It is ok... she can keep telling me that. But I am going to make up a chore chart for her soon, and she WILL have to do it, otherwise... she will not get to do the things she likes.

Oh and I got back at her for telling me that... I made her play with her brother in her room and with her littest pet shops! LMAO! She is so POed at me. But guess what? I do not care! It is either play with her little brother or lose her DS for a month.
well idk, cuz at the end of last year. one of the gym teachers (we have 2) asked me if i was taking gym or not, and i couldnt give him an exact answer. cuz for me, its either a 1. u never do it or 2. u do it every gym class

when i have my rhuemy appt. august 19th, we're gonna see what he thinks. i hope he says NO GYM!!!!

i really dislike gym class, i had tons of fun in the bleachers, writing and drawing while everyone else got sweaty. cuz i like writing, its sorta fun.

hmmm, so idk about gym, we'll have to wait n see what the rhuemy doctor says. cuz this year, unlike last year, we HAVE to run a mile, wah!

i remember when i did that before, i was exhausted. i dont think i should do gym tho, cuz even when i use my stationary bike, the next day im so SORE. so idk yet...

BUT, that was a good suggestion, gym class is only twice a week, maybe i'll be up to it. im not sure...

wow the 10th?? that is early!
i dont start till the 31st.

well, i guess its different everywhere

I had JRA since I was 18 months old. I missed a lot of school because of not feeling well. I would even go home early because of not feeling well and having temps. I was even kept back in kidnergarden because I missed so many days of school. On all of my report cards in the teacher comments area, they all commented on how much I missed school. I was a straight C student! I probably would have been a A/B student if I went and stayed at school.

It was not until the 6th grade that I stopped being out at much and not feeling sick so much. And then from 7th grade until 11th grade I NEVER missed a day of school! I had perfect attendance. But I was also in remission from 7th grade until 11th grade. Then the JRA started coming back around 12th grade.

Use to be the 21st.

Yeah... GYM was the worst for me as well. It was kinda a good thing that I developed asthma when I was in the 8th grade and had it until I was in 11th grade. I was expempt from GYM because of my asthma. It was too humid in the gym for me to breathe.

when i got back to school, after being in the hospital.
i went home early a few times, cuz i felt sick

BUT, im sure i cant do that this year, i missed like 20 somethin days last year, i was bad. lol, and i had been hoping for perfect atendance that year too.

not with the one week out with shingles, in october
and then JRA in april and begining of may
ruined my atendance, lol. atleast i had good grades still...
I wish you the best of Luck for school this year! thnx joonie
