Calcium/VitD supplements | Arthritis Information

Ok... so I have started taking my calcium/vitaminD supplements again. Well... more mgs anyways.

I was taking a pernatal multi-vitamin that had a lot of calcium in it and then wal-mart stopped carrying it. So... I stopped taking the multi-vitamin.

So... last weekend I went and looked at the all the multi-vitamins and found one that had 405mg of calcium! YAY!! It is for women over 50. It is for bone health. So... another PLUS! They did not have that multi-vitamin before... I know... because the highest calcium I could find in a multi-vitamin was 300mg. Which made me 100mg of calcium short of the 1600mg I was to get.

SO... now I get 2000mg of calcium. I know most will not be absorbed, but I am also drinking milk and OJ with calcium in my diet. So... hopefully that will help me as well.

What supplements/multi-vitamins do you take?
I take a b-complex w/C most days.  I also eat a couple of xtra-strength Rolaids (magnesium + calcium) and get some sun most days in the summer.  When the weather is cooler and I don't get as much sun, I take a 2000 IU vit D gelcap most days.
