UGH - Headache!!! | Arthritis Information

I've tried everything - tylenol, ibuprofen, even a second can of Coke (caffeine can do wonders for headaches!).  Icy Hot on my forehead.  An icepack tied to my head.  Gonna try some sudafed next - I've been a bit congested; perhaps it's the beginning of some sinus issues.  Sorry to hear of your headache. I use to say I had headaches, but then I found out they were migraines. Go figure. LOL!

Hope it goes away for you soon. I hate the ones that last for a couple of days and seem like they will never go away.
stupid human tricks!!

how about hydration?  enough water?

I hate headaches......

for some reason, two days in a row I forgot my NSAIDS....... and I had the worst headache!! That's rather scarey making me wonder if I have it all the time?  (I am getting a scan of sinuses soon)  I have been literally pouring ice water down my throat 24/7... and I'm doing better.

sometimes.... sleep is the only thing that works.

Hope you get rid of it. Jas....  they're so debilitating.....
Yep, sleep is what seems to be the only thing that takes care of my "headaches". But I have woke up with really bad headaches that have lasted for a couple of days, and nothing I took, took it away, just dulled it a little. Hope you can get some sleep and feel better tomorrow. Maybe a cold pack on your forehead and a comfy bed and a dark room?  Sometimes that's the only thing that'll work for me.  I'm feeling better after the Sudafed had a chance to kick in... can't go to bed early tonight.  The husband just went to bed and I've got to stay up to monitor the boys.   I know it's not a migraine - I get a couple of those a year, and I always have a couple of Imitrex on hand for just such an issue. yes....lovely migraines give you "warnings"

I can tell when my friend, Heather , is going to have one.. her right eye gets smaller..

odd.

Glad you're doing better, Jas.
Jas, glad the sudafed helped.  Snow, I'm going to remember your accupressure trick.  Most of the headaches I get are due to tight neck and shoulder muscles.I cannot "squeeze" hard enough to do the accupressure trick. I tried it after I read it. Then I thought... hey I can get hubby to do it! And then I had a vision of him squeezing my head and my head bursting like a not so juicey pimple.
