He made his way over to the silver watch and examined it closely. He noticed the intricate detail carved into the face of the timepiece, and he thought it was just magnificent. A real masterpiece! He just had to have it. He beckoned his mom over, so she could take a look.

Hey Star...I read your story and I liked it.  Good imagination.   Do your read much?  If yes, what do you like best, fiction or non fiction?  What are your favorites?yay thnx Linncn

i sorta like readin, on my 11th book of the summer, so far...
so i guess i read alot, (r teachers sayd its good to read)

i like fiction better, cuz nonfiction is boring

hmmm, i enjoyed all 3 books we read at school this year
so i'll list those:

1. A Single Shard by Linda Sue Parks
2. Bad Boy: A memoir by Walter Dean Myers
3. Call of the Wild by Jack London

i think those r the right authors, not so sure
but those books were awesome

Star, definitely worth a read, I know my kids would love reading your short stories, so keep em coming, well done, Janie.

PS a good distraction from pain too!
Hi Star,

I just read your story blog.  It is very good.  Keep them coming as I will continue to log in and see what you are writing.  Is English your favorite subject in school?  Hiking Gal
thnx ppl
idk what to do today tho
the 2nd thing on that list seems hard to write about
so i think... i wont go in order, im gonna do the best ones first
and then do the more "challenging" ones later

yeah english is my favorite class
its better than everythin else
HERE'S THE SECOND ONE, ITS ABOUT:

What-if Story #2:
What if kids taught the teachers at school?

HERE'S THE RANDOM PARAGRAPH

Tommy sat down on the big chair and rested his feet on the desk. He took a lollipop out of his backpack and peeled the wrapper off. It was grape, his favorite flavor! He then said in a quiet voice, “Does anybody have any questions?”

THIS STORY ISNT AS EXCITING AS YESTERDAY'S BUT I TRIED, IT WAS HARD. NOT AS GOOD OF AN IDEA TO BEGIN WITH, BUT THATS WHY THIS IS FUN. LOL, SO READ IT AND TELL ME HOW U LIKED IT, I DIDNT LIKE IT MUCH. 3 OUT OF 5 STARS, IN MY RATINGS.
