HI guys, just thought I would fill you in after my GP visit today for my MTX injection and scripts. The first thing my lovely GP said was you look exhausted and I said I am glad you noticed as it is really worrying me, I have slept for 5 days straight almost, maybe its my anaemia again!!! She said after 3 weeks at the childrens hosp I should expect to be like this for at least another fortnight and longer if the iron and ferritin levels are stuffed again. So I am resting for another two weeks, her orders and having a bucket load of bloods done. Hope it works!!!! Janie. She usually gives me a script for my oxycontin and one box (20) tabs supply of Endone but I told her I am taking 6-8 a day like the pain specialist recommended if necessary, so thank God she phoned Medicare pharmeceutical section and managed to get me a 3 pack prescription! It was getting a bit tedious trying to get scripts all the time, but Medicare would not allow it until now.
I hope your exhaustion ebbs soon Janie. I've been exhausted too the last couple of weeks. I think I'm going to go to bed right now!
YAWNJanie, could you arrange with a friend or neighbour to be available to take calls from Liam's school for a couple of days so you can rest during the day without being vigilant?
I dare say we are all cognizant of how exhaustion affects every aspect of our lives, it sounds like you need a time out.
Cheers, Shug
Thanks Shug, what a great idea? I normally don't get affected by it as hubby takes care of everything but since he has started his p/t casual job, its late hours for him and he needs to sleep during the day so that is affecting me too, I am trying to get up in the mornings to get the boys off to school, breakfasts etc and its killing me!!!! Thanks Shug!
I am glad I made the suggestion and hope you get some well-deserved rest.
Take care of yourself!
