Oh the joys of life. I woke up this morning with a cold, so did my daughter. My head feels the size of Texas, my toes are aching and my fingers are stiff and swollen. If I get a cold, I get a flare, hand in hand it seems. I can hear my poor baby trying to nap through her coughing, I need a nap too. To top it off I am throwing a birthday party for my sister tonight. But on the other hand I get to spend all day with my family.
Thanks for listening to me vent. Ah, sorry you and your babe are both feeling so badly. As busy as you must be preparing a party, take a thirty minute break, lie down, cover your eyes with a warm cloth and just rest.

Have a great time at your party and be kind to yourself.
Hi Allymom, just go for it, suffer tomorrow but have fun on this special day!  HUgs Janie.  Thanks guys. I had a great time my sister and I are really close so we like to spoil her. A good time was had by all. I am sure I'll pay for it tomorrw though. How are you and your daughter today? Improving I hope: be sure to keep yourselves hydrated and rested... ... Well I got about 4 hours of sleep, off and on last night. Had to be at work at 7am not fun. I am feeling better v
cold wise but my joints are mad. My daughter on the other hand is not feeling much better. Even though it's just a cold, she's miserable. She's a lot like daddy that way. Thanks for the well wishes!Ah, poor girl; I fully sympathize with her on just how miserable a cold can be. And for some reason they always seem to be worse just before they burn themselves out.

I hope you sleep better tonight. It is hard to work and be tired, sick, and in a flare all at once.
...but my joints are mad.
In the middle of the night I literally laughed out loud as I thought about this statement. It is SO accurate; joints do feel as if they are mad (in all its variations) when they are inflamed!
