Ok this may be a silly question but I am going to ask anyways. I have noticed on the nights when I use the Oxycodone for pain control I am having nightmares. I mean they don't wake me or anything but they are vivid enough to remember and are always some version of a scary, action filled dream. Do the narcotic pain meds cause this? I wasn't told they would be a side effect. But I have seen postings on other sites from others who have had this type of thing happen while on fentanyl. Has anyone else experienced this? Opiates can mess with your brain whether you're awake or not.
I don't recall having any nightmares while taking oxycocet or while using the fentanyl patches.
