Hey everyone. ive been back at school for over a week. classes are just starting up, i have had a few already, but tomorrow I have my first day of tuesday classes. things are going ok. its been really tough for me emotionally/mental health wise. BUT joint wise things havnt been too bad in fact, i may go as far to say that remicade is working. but im not sure, ill have to give it a awhile. its hard to tell if this is just a natural things feel better time period or if its the remicade. but i hope it is!!! i go the rheumatolgist next week...my school rheumatlgist.
im still on prednisone though. i tried to taper bu then i had a huge allergy/asthma flair and i got sick. so i had to stay on a little longer ironically for my asthma not joints. im still taking my inhaler every 3 hours. but at least i can talk without dying right?
im exausted, been getting up early to work in the lab. so going to bed like 2 hours early tonight...maybe lol
hope everyone was doing ok!Hey Mermaid! glad to hear the RA is settled down. Sorry about the asthma though. I certainly wish you all the luck in the world this year. I'm quite confident that you are going to do fabulous! Be good to yourself and don't be a stranger.
Glad to hear the good news. Enjoy your classes! HGI'm so glad to hear you are feeling so much better joint wise! I hope the Remicade was your silver bullet! Give yourself some time with tapering the prednisone. Maybe you should make sure the Remicade has really taken hold for you.
