Hi everyone! I'm new to the group and glad to have someone to talk to about RA. I'm want to know if any of you have heard of the new drug symboni. Enbrel has stopped working for me and my doctor wants to try this before Orencia. I'm having trouble finding info on the drug and my pharmacy hasn't even heard of it!! I'm currently taking Enbrel, Mtx, 5mg pred, folic acid, Ca with vit D, Tylenol, Tylenol #3, pred tapers.Hi Brooke and welcome to the forum. I found some information on Simponi by Googling and also one of the forum members is using it. Did you get the drug info from your RD to review? It's been on the market for less than a year. I'm going to talk to my new RD about it in 2 weeks and see what kind of response I get. Good luck in your search. Lindy

As LinB points out the medication is Simponi (golimuma). The press release announcing the approval of the once-a-month injection can be read >>CLICK HERE<<.

I've been on Simponi for 3 months....no improvement yet but as with all these biologics, it takes time. What kind of information are you looking for?
