I've had Ra for 15 yrs. Swollen knees hands, pain stiffness the whole thing. The whole time I have continued to work out. I took small breaks during bad flares. It was hard but I always stayed active, you have to. Spinning has helped the most. I am now in complete remission due to a drink called Mona Vie. I have permanent damage but now I can play tennis for 3to 4 hrs a day, run 2 miles etc. I can give u all the details. It's truly life changing. e-mail me at JennyAaron2@hotmail.com.
Cycling is a great exercise, very low impact and it gets the heart pumping. I'll google the drink
