Has anyone any experience on this drug. Having benn taken off Sulphasalazine, this is the next they want me to try. I'm aware that it can raise BP and am being monitored beforehand. I was told that froma rhematologist's point of view, if the drug works for the joints, and the BP goes up, they would prefer that BP medication is taken as well. I already have rased BP and have just started taking meds for this, Indipimide, a diuretic, and my BP had fallen.
Any other info from anyone would be much appreciated.

I took this this drug for 5 months and found it very good for my joints. My blood pressure was monitored weekly to begin with then fortnightly and after three months every 4 weeks when I had my bloods done. My blood pressure stayed the same all the time although I am also on tablets for my heart, which are the same type of tablets used for controlling blood pressure, because I had a heart attack 5 years ago.
I was taken off Leuflunomide after about five months because I suffered with terrible diarrhea terrible diarrhea problems which was no better after five months.
Good luck with this drug, and remember all drugs affect people differently.
