I'm new here and came across this forum by accident - but lots of very interesting information.
Just wondering what experiences others have had with Orencia?
I have had RA for nearly two years now and more recently been on a trial with Orencia now for nearly a year with good results. The one thing I've learnt with RA is that the condition and results of medications varies a lot between individuals. What may be right for one person, may not necessarily suit another.
I was pleased with the results I was getting with Orencia, but have heard lately that many people find the benefits of Biological DMARD's can 'wear off' after a number of years.
Just interested in other peoples opinions

I just started Orencia. I had my second infusion today and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! I have been diagnosed for 2 and 1/2 years and it has made an amazing difference in my life. I have also heard that biologics can "wear off" for some people--I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens. Glad you found this forum--it has been a great place for me to get information.
