Ok pancreatitis under control.. no runs, very little nausea..taking digestive meds.. Will look more at it later. Still losing weight

So what happens Friday? I develop a boil.. A HUGE extremely painful, extremely embarrassing boil.. I can't sit, or lie down or walk..

I was at the store yesterday and ran into my Dr..(np) and friend and told her what was going on and she told me to call her clerk and I could come in any time..

OUCHIE.. oh... and when the dr looks at your butt and says "Oh My God!!" Trust me, it's not good.
I got lanced and packed and doped up and wicked and what ever else they do.. On Doxycycline.. She says she thinks its MRSA..

Now added to all this my little guy (he will be 4 on the 5th) Has developed a handful of really nasty boils and infections.. So she had me go home and get him and looked at him.. He has scabies and some of the itchie spots are infected.. Sheeeeesh..

I don't wanna know what can happen next.
OMG, Kathy I am so sorry! I hope you and the little guy start to feeling better! That really stinks! I will keep you in my thoughts! Yikes! When it rains, it pours! Hope you and your little guy feel better soon!Well that is just one blow after another. Hang in there. I hope you both get threw this quickly. HI Kathy, what rotten luck, hope you are both better very soon, regards Janie. I've had mrsa on my butt too. That's where it likes to hit ya. It's really just lovely isn't it? There's nothing like a big ol abscess on your ass.... it's the icing on the proverbial cake.
I'm sorry. I know how much this sucks. Once you've had mrsa, you are likely to get it again. I've had it 3x. The good news is that next time you'll know what you are looking at and you'll catch it much earlier. Feel better soon!
Leilascabies - yikes!  When I worked as a habilitation aide we had a scabies outbreak - it was pure hell for the residents (developmentally disabled adults).  We had to scrub each one of them down with the scabicidal soap each day for a few days.  I felt so bad for them - bad enough that they itched like crazy, but then the constant and thorough bathing/scrubbing was over-the-top unbearable for some of them. I had a friend that has MRSA on her butt too!! Sorry to hear that's what's going on with you Kathy. Hang in there. Hope everything clears up soon.

You know, Spelunker.. It has NEVER been in my nature to shake my fist and ask why me.. In some movie, I don't remember which one, the hero says "why me" and gets the answer, "Why not you?"

I handle just about everything with humor.. sometimes prretty black humor, but I figure as long as I'm alive I can laugh at pretty much anything..

I see life as far more absurd than sad.. So I laugh..

Ah, Kathy...my party was not intended to be sad, rather the fist shaking and questioning was/is only a way of seeing the humour in the universe and of understanding the wisdom of "why not you?"

My most sincere apologizes for leading anyone to think I was either accepting of or recommending sadness. Like you, LAUGHTER is my favourite tool.

Sorry... ... ...Shug
Kathy - Hope this finds you and your son doing a little better today and each day to come.  So sorry you are both going through this now.

Kathy..sorry you've been going through so much...hope you're feeling better soon!
Awwww Kathy!  Are you a drinking woman?  If not, maybe its time to start!  Well, a glass of wine at least.

It seems at times that little cloud just hovers overhead and defies our attempts to take shelter from the rain it produces.  Heres to you finding a big umbrella!
