H1n1 is distinctly different than a cold. My son had h1n1 in May. Very high fever, screaming headache for a week, sore throat for 10 days and slept 20 out of 24 hrs. a day, didn't eat for 5 days. Personality changed from sweet boy to a viper.

the personality change is probably a dead give away ;)
