Confused - Tear Duct Swelling | Arthritis Information

To many over lapping problems leaves me so confused. I am already on antibiotics. Day seven. It is allergy season so doubtful I will feel well anytime soon. I have had hayfever scince I was four. At this part of my life nothing works for the allergies. Well maybe nothing ever did now that I think about it?

So besides the allergie swelling of the eyes. Then the Sjorgrens swelling. Now my tear duct is puffy and irratated. Well I take pain meds so it is probably more irratated than I even know.

I think I have a flu virus on top of everything else. So I have a fever. The kids have a fever.

Well so I do not know how to tell if I have a blocked tear duct. Symtoms such as fever and tearing. Well I do not get tearing very often. The fever maybe what the kids have?

It is just hard to know how to take care of ones self. Just a new bit of swelling that goes on the side of my nose from my tear duct. I never exactly had that before. On the other hand with all that is going on I would be more prone probably to have a blocked tear duct than most people.
THis just happened to me. Woke up and my left eye lid was all swollen. Waited two days. It was noit getting any better so I saw the eye Dr. Gave me some drops, told me to wash the area with baby shampoo. Gone in 3 daysHi Milly,

I too had the swollen eyes.  Actually mine were swollen shut.  The doctor gave me drops and it cleared up pretty quickly.  I also took a 10 day course of Augmentin and just finished a z-pack.  I'm still congested but at least I can see!  Good luck and feel better soon.  HG
