Feeling better, overdoing it automatic | Arthritis Information

HI guys, 15mg of pred feeling better to a point, GP said I could cancel the spinal shots for now until it becomes unmanageable again, or if I need to increase the pain relief!

So what does Jane do?????  Yeah, lets go for a walk, I am sure I will be fine woohhoooooo

well, here I am, just got back, walked for 20mins there, had a good long rest and almost crawled back!!!!!!!   AAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHH

I know, I know, I always do it, and I can hear the little inner voice as I am doing it saying "you'll be ok, don't worry, you are stable at the moment" and then the other inner voice saying "you are gonna pay for this, you are being stupid" Yeah right! I think everyone of us here does the same thing-especially those with children.  I was feeling ok last weekend so I took Nathan to the pumpkin patch.  He had surgery coming up on Wed so I wanted to give him a treat.  Well, its a good thing that he has been on bedrest since the surgery cause I needed it too after walking all over the place.

Hope you can take it easy today.  Good luck to Liam as well.
oh yeah

there I am crawling on the dining room floor with Jakie and suddenly I need help to get up..
I tend to over do Sat, Sun, Mon  since I take MTX on Friday.. So tuesday I PAY for it.

Monday I actually walked downtown with Jakie  I walked a whole 3 miles altogether  sheeeesh what was I thinking?? My hips still hurt..

But we do it for our kids..

Well I am still taking it easy. I did cook dinner tonight. The things we do for our kids. LOL I actually went to Holiday World a few months ago. We had three adults and three children. I went on a roller coaster. I do not like rollercoasters even if I was well. I had no choice. What was I going to do? Say sorry kid life isn't fair. I certainly did take a bit more pain meds that day or I would still be sitting on a bench there waiting to be rescued.

It was a wonderful time. None of them had ever been before. They are five, six, and seven. They are tall for there age so they could go on all the rides. I prefer the turkey swirl myself. There was one ride my niece was to short for so we went back to the turkey swirl. She said she was glad she was to small because the ride looked scary. I am glad I went. We all made some wonderful memories. Sometimes the over doing it is really worth it in the long run. LOL I still have a faint bruise on my arm from that day. My doc put me on 1000 mg of vitamin C because I was so bruised up from the trip.
I guess I'm lucky- the more I challenge myself the more I realize I am able to do more than I thought I could.

   Hi Janie.

No I wouldn't berate you. You are doing the best you can for your
   kids...although chess is a wonderful game :)

Look after yourself and all the best for you and Liam in Brisbane. I pray the doctors
will be given insight for Liam's condition.
