Pens for painful paws | Arthritis Information

Hi,

I'm a physician, but this post reflects my personal hand pain when using a pen.  I did a youtube video where I looked at different pens and how they increased my ability to write without pain and spasm.  Give it a look if you have the "painful paws" problem like I do.

I just watched your video re: pens.  Good information.
I have RA and find that my hands tire or cramp easily  when required to write.  I generally use a lightweight mechanical pencil with the grips like the pens you were showing for most of my note taking.  For signatures or official paperwork a thick pen with a comfort grip is a must.  Couldn't agree more - stick pens are like torture for painful paws.
i liked it, too. I switched to a fat gripper pen a long time ago and just love them. I've tried a weird pen -- but it was not for me. I couldn't get the control of a fat gripper with it.
