Hello Everyone....
I have another weekly question for superduper guys and gals. Does anyone have a loss of appetite with their symptoms? I have read on here and others that people tend to eat more rather than not eat.

Well when people are on prednisone they tend to get very hungry. Sometimes I go threw spells where I do not eat much. I never thought about it being from the RA. Usually I tend to blame things on medicine.When I was very ill with RA I remember not finishing my meals which is unusual for me. I lost 18 lbs. in 2 weeks. Then when I went on prednisone I ate like crazy. I wanted to eat constantly whether I felt full or not. Some nights I would have to go to bed just so I would stop putting food in my face. Weight was jumping on 6 lbs at a time.My sister has RA and will tend to not eat when she is in a flare, or will live on just coffee and pastries but still be skinny. I on the other hand medicate with food. I even cooked spaghetti and meatballs with a cast on my arm post-wrist surgery.
