Hello | Arthritis Information

My name is Rick. I am a 53 yr old male from Lower Alabama / Gulf Coast.

I have know about OA in my fingers, knees and ankles for a few years, but have just been told I also have it in my neck. Recent x-ray showed degeneration and 3 spurs. Not sure how severe it would be considered, I just know that it it is a real pain in the neck - and the resulting pinched nerve(s) cause a fair amount of discomfort.

I know that my condition is nothing compared to the many that have RA, but am very glad to have found this site. If it lives up to the OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) site that I frequent - it will be no less than wonderful.

There are quite a few people here that have OA as well as Ra. I have Ra myself

and just hate it. I am now trying Remicade infusions and I sure hope

it works. What kind of treatments are you taking? Maimi

Hey, Rick. I'm new here myself. I've got RA but you reminded me that I had an x-ray that showed arthritis in my neck. It wasn't bothering me so I never gave it a second thought. Now the RA, that's hard to ignore. I'm 62 and in Virginia. Welcome.
