WAYS TO SAVE $ ON GROCERIES | Arthritis Information

This has nothing to do with chronic illness(es), some good news though, check

out "Angel Food Ministries."  They are a food co-op.  A lot of food for the money.  Can't go wrong w/these prices and packages.
Teenee, thank you for this information. This is a great idea for seniors. And people on budgets and I see you can order online.   I'm gonna look into this for my mother in law who is on a very limited income. Some churches in my area offer this program.  I've heard mixed reviews.  Some of the stuff in the predefined package is really poor quality and of low nutritional value, and the savings don't quite add up like they claim.  On the other hand, if you review the list and think you can/will eat everything in the package, and have difficulty getting to a regular store, it might be of value.  There have also been allegations of wrongdoing by the people running the charity.

Many areas have local non-profit groups who offer the same kinds of package deals, so it pays to call around to all the churches and social service agencies in your area.
We have it here and  for the most part its really excellent quality.. I'm wondering if it depends on where you are?

The few things we can't eat go back to the food bank.
Yeah, they do not offer it in montana but it is very easy to look up where the nearest program is.
